Fort White United Methodist Church launched “A Hand Up” Ministry in 2009 and watched service to our community strengthen and broaden.  “A Hand Up” provides qualified homeowners with repairs to existing structures and much-needed assistance around home sites. This ministry continues today, tomorrow and into the future.

This ministry is designed to share the love of Jesus Christ by providing love and encouragement by way of minor construction repairs to the area’s widows, elderly couples, disabled residents, single mothers and others with great need.  Applications of need may be submitted to the FWUMC or you may download the application and return it completed to the church office during regular business hours or via U.S. mail. 

If you are someone who has construction experience or would like to learn, we provide hands-on training so please join us. If you are someone who can paint or pick up debris, please join us.If you  are someone who enjoys cooking for groups or providing support for a team, please join us.  If you are someone who would like to donate to the  ministry, we humbly welcome your assistance.
